Dragonfly

This MOC can be made with the parts of box 42132. Because of that, I had to compromise here and there, which means that it is mostly a model to look at, rather than to play with. The tail easily bends down and the back pair of legs will just hinge down as soon as you pick it up.

I got the idea when I looked at the parts for the wings. First I thought they might turn into the wings of an aeroplane, but then the bends reminded me somehow of a dragonfly. Next, I quickly checked of there would be parts for a body and a head, which were easy enough.

Last but not least, in fact a potential deal breaker, the legs needed to be made. Fortunately, it quickly appeared there would be enough axles and knee bends. But to attach the legs to the body with the right angles, turned out to be a puzzle, which took most of the time it took to design this MOC. The hind legs are rather loose, but the two pairs of front legs are sturdy enough to firmly support the entire dragonfly.
